Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Participation in snowsports lessons, guiding and activities indicates that you accept these terms and conditions.

GENERAL

All Niseko Supreme services are non-transferable and non-refundable. You must have or you agree that you do have valid travel insurance which covers you for accidents or injuries sustained whilst undertaking snow sports activities. Payment of any monies constitutes acceptance of Niseko Supreme terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the person paying to inform all other people in the booking group of all terms, conditions and general info. The person who pays shall be primarily liable for all fees for the entire group in the event of any cancellation. All Niseko Supreme product and service offerings are subject to availability.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD LESSONS

In taking a lesson with Niseko Supreme the customer, parent, or guardian understands that snow sports can be dangerous and may result in injuries. Niseko Supreme and its employees will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents occurring before, during, or after any service has taken place. Niseko Supreme and its employees will not be held liable for any equipment that is lost or damaged during a lesson, this includes any replacement costs or lost lesson time.

  • All lessons booked with Niseko Supreme must be paid in advance. A lesson cannot go ahead if the payment hasn’t been submitted.
  • Cancellations by guest as a result of bad weather will not be refunded. In case of Official Resort closure (all lifts not operating) guest may ask for refund or credit.
  • Cancellation by guests for injuries occurred before, during, or after the lesson will not be refunded.
  • Lift Passes are not included in the lesson price and need to be purchased separately and prior to the start of the lesson. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their children have a valid lift ticket. Any part of any lesson missed as a result of not having a valid lift ticket is non-refundable or transferable.
  • The guest is aware that all winter, ski, and snowboard equipment needs to be organized and collected by themselves and paid separately to the company they rent the equipment from. Niseko Supreme Ski School is not obligated to provide any equipment necessary for skiing and snowboarding lessons to its guests.
  • Minimum age to attend a private lesson is 4 years old and children must be toilet trained.
  • Private lesson price includes up to 4 people.
  • The lesson will start at the time previously agreed with the guest and it won’t be extend if the guest shows up late. If the guest doesn’t show up in the first 90 minutes without informing the company or the instructor, the lesson will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
  • In taking a full day lesson that includes time for lunch, you agree that you/your child will be exposed to potential allergens for which Niseko Supreme will not be held liable.

OFF PISTE LIFT ACCESS AND GUIDING LESSONS

Your safety is our number one priority, and the guide has the final decision on where is safe to go according to weather, snow, and avalanche conditions, gate access, and your skill level.

  • If you are not a returning customer and never skied in Niseko, the guide must assess your abilities before taking you in any of the off piste areas. A powder day in within the resort area with the guide is required. The guide will also test you on the use of avalanche gear before attempting any off piste skiing.
  • You must follow the direction of your guide and respect the Niseko rules and Alpine Responsibility code at all time.
  • We have a maxim of 4 people per guide. For any additional people a second guide must be hired.
  • Gates opening is subjected to weather and snow conditions. Cancellation by guest, as a result of gates closure due to bad weather, will not be refunded. In case of Official Resort closure (all lifts not operating) guest may ask for refund or credit.
  • Children must be at least 14 years of age to take part in Niseko Supreme guiding or touring lessons. The guide must assess their level and their ability using the avalanche gear. In case children don’t meet the requirement, the guide won’t take them in any of the areas outside the resort and the lesson will he held in within the resort area.
  • You accept that skiing out of the gates and touring in the back-country are dangerous activities and you agree that Niseko Supreme and its guides will be not held liable in the event of an accident, injury, or death.
  • You accept that in the event of the accident you will be responsible for all costs associated with its recovery. The fee for back-country rescue is a minimum of 100,000 Yen per person.
  • You must have suitable travel insurance that covers any accident may occur in the “off piste” area.
  • The guide does not provide any lift passes, ski or snowboard gear and avalanche gear and the guest has to organised it prior to the start of the booking.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Niseko Supreme requires the full amount to be paid at the time of booking.

​Refund Policy:

  • 80% refund of full amount from the time of booking till 31 days prior to booking start, minus credit card fees.
  • 50% refund from 30 days to 15 days prior to booking start, minus credit card fees.
  • No refund on bookings within 14 days prior to the booking start.
  • In the event that COVID-19 restrictions prevent you from attending a lesson, NO refund or credit will be provided.
  • In the event that COVID restrictions prevents a lesson from operating, Niseko Supreme will provide a full refund excluding credit card fees.

​We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that will cover any loss due to the Covid 19.

PAYMENTS CONDITIONS

  • Deposit payment need to be payed by the date indicated on the invoice. If the balance is not paid by the due date, Niseko Supreme reserves the right to cancel any snowsports lessons.
  • The remaining amount need to be payed by the date indicated on the invoice. If the balance is not paid by the due date, Niseko Supreme reserves the right to cancel any snowsports lessons without any obligation to reimburse the deposit payment.
  • In the case of a single full payment, full payment need to be payed by the date indicated on the invoice. If the balance is not paid by the due date, Niseko Supreme reserves the right to cancel any snowsports lessons.
  • Lessons for which a reservation is made 30 days prior to the start of the lesson will initially be invoiced for a deposit payment first, followed by an invoice for the remaining balance. Lessons reserved less than 30 days from the start date will be invoiced for full payment.
  • By making the deposit or full amount payment, you confirm your reservation. Any changes to the reservation thereafter are not preferred, and we cannot guarantee that they will be accepted.
  • Payment for your lesson constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Pick up and drop off service

  • The pick-up and drop-off service needs to be reserved at the time of lesson booking. If a customer requests or demands transportation at a later stage, Niseko Supreme cannot guarantee or organise transportation and is not obligated to do so.
  • During the high season, from December 15th to January 7th and from February 10th to 17th, the pick-up and drop-off service can be arrange only for full-day lesson.
